Donate a stamp collection
If you have inherited stamps and would like to give them to the Polish Stamp Foundation, tell us what you have. We welcome offers of Polish stamps, albums, letters, postcards and collectors’ notes. You can contact us from Poland or abroad.

What to put in your first email
- Tell us how many albums, boxes or envelopes there are and where they are located.
- Attach a few photos of whole album pages with the stamps still in place. If there are letters, include an envelope with its postmark.
- Tell us who collected them, if you know. A handwritten list or a note tucked inside an album may help identify the material.
A short description is enough to start, even if you have no photos or inventory.
What happens before you send anything?
We’ll discuss which items the Foundation could accept and how to arrange a handover. Please agree the details with us before posting an album or visiting the registered office in Konstancin-Jeziorna.
If you live outside Poland, mention your country so we can discuss the arrangements before you spend money on shipping.
Still deciding whether to keep, sell or donate?
Keep the collection together for now. For a sale price, ask a stamp dealer or auctioneer. If you want the material to help tell the story of Polish postal history, we can talk through a donation.
